The Rainbow Memorial

A Place to Remember. A Way to Give Back.

The Rainbow Memorial at the Humane Society of North Central Florida honors the pets who have left lasting paw prints on our hearts. It is a space for remembrance, reflection, and gratitude—celebrating the deep love shared between people and the animals who shaped their lives.

Through this memorial, remembrance becomes hope, helping animals still waiting for their second chance and supporting our life-saving work.

How It Works

You are always welcome to visit the Rainbow Memorial in person. Many families choose to leave a collar, tag, or small keepsake on the fence as a personal tribute.

If you have lost a beloved pet, you may also honor them through the Rainbow Memorial:

With a minimum donation, we will create and place an engraved tag with your pet’s name on the memorial fence.
Your donation helps cover the cost of the tag and directly supports our life-saving mission.
Our team will take care of the engraving and placement.
