Group Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your group’s interest in supporting the Humane Society of North Central Florida! There are several meaningful ways for groups to get involved:

Pack Walk is a new program by the Humane Society of North Central Florida designed for groups, including private groups, student organizations, and corporate teams. We invite these groups to join us in walking our dogs on our 0.3 mile campus loop, providing them with exercise and enrichment.

🛒 Thrift Store Group Volunteering

Group volunteers at the Thrift Store typically help with tasks such as:

  • Hanging and organizing clothing
  • Restocking merchandise on the sales floor
  • Cleaning and tidying the store
  • Refreshing displays and sections

Available shifts:

  • Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
  • 12:00–2:00 PM (standard shift) or 12:00–4:00 PM (extended shift)
  • Up to 6 group members per shift, scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis

Groups can email volunteer@humanesocietyncfl.org with their preferred dates, and we’ll check availability and coordinate. On the day of the shift, the group meets directly at the Thrift Store, signs a release form, and receives a short orientation from the store manager, staff member, or experienced volunteer”.
