Whisker Workshops

Get creative, try something new, and support homeless pets at the same time!

Whisker Workshops are fun, hands-on fundraising events designed to bring our community closer to the animals and mission of the Humane Society of North Central Florida. From Kitten Yoga and Pottery with Kittens to animal-themed arts and crafts—and many more activities to come—there is always something new to experience.

Each workshop is designed for a specific age group or audience, with opportunities for children, teens, adults, families, and animal lovers of all ages. Please review the individual event description for age requirements and other important details.

Want to hear about new programs and Whisker Workshops as soon as they are announced?

Before You Arrive

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and get settled.
Wear comfortable clothing. For art, pottery, and other creative workshops, we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.
Feel free to bring a reusable water bottle.
Free parking is available on-site at the shelter.
If you are dropping off a young participant, please complete the required waiver and provide emergency contact information at check-in. Children must be picked up promptly at the conclusion of the workshop.

Whisker Workshops are designed to connect our community with the animals we serve while raising critical funds for the Humane Society of North Central Florida. Your registration is considered a charitable donation and directly supports the care of homeless pets.

Because supplies, instructors, and workshop materials are arranged in advance based on registration, workshop fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, we appreciate as much notice as possible. Many of our workshops have waitlists, and notifying us may allow another participant to attend while helping us prepare accordingly.
