Join us on Tuesday, August 4th, from 10:00–11:30 AM for a fun filled Animal Arts & Crafts Workshop at the Humane Society of North Central Florida. This drop-off workshop for children ages 7–11 will give participants the opportunity to create a variety of animal inspired crafts while learning about the shelter and the animals in our care.

Each participant will decorate a wooden birdhouse to take home as a keepsake. Additional craft activities may include decorating miniature dog houses, drawing portraits of adoptable shelter animals, making cat wand toys, coloring animal silhouettes, and other animal themed projects. While each participant will take home their decorated birdhouse, some projects, such as miniature dog houses and shelter pet portraits, will remain at the shelter to help brighten our education spaces and adoption areas.

The final 20 minutes of the workshop will be dedicated to meeting and spending time with our adoptable kittens and cats.
